Cedar Waxwings in Mountain Ash Tree
Dr. Arthur Tiedemann

A mountain ash tree near our townhouse in Greeley Colorado is a gathering place for cedar waxwings to feed in the early winter. I hid in the shadows to photograph these sleek, colorful, black-masked bandits as they fed on the berries. I used a Nikon D-80 with 70-300mm telephoto at ISO 200.
