Town Meeting for Sportsmen and Wildlife Enthusiasts
May 8, 2008
7:00 PM
The Plains Hotel - 1600 Central Ave., Cheyenne, WY
Wyoming Wildlife Federation, our affiliate in the Cowboy State, is having a town meeting in your area and has asked us to extend a warm invitation to you. It will be an excellent opportunity to meet their new executive director, Walt Gasson, and hear about important projects that they are involved with – some of which NWF is involved with on a national level.
We hope that you will have time to visit with WWF and share your thoughts with them. There is a lot of good work to be done in Wyoming and we hope that you will join the effort!
Responsible Energy Development Symposium
May 21-24, 2008 at the Jackson Lake Lodge
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
There are growing concerns over the impacts of oil and gas development on wildlife, water, and hunting and fishing opportunities in the West. While we recognize the importance of energy resources, hunters and anglers are leading the effort to develop solutions that balance energy development with habitat protection and the western way of life.
The Responsible Energy Development Symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming May 21-24, 2008 will bring together leading practitioners and researchers in wildlife science, resource planning, and wildlife conservation to pool their ideas and develop a road map for balancing wildlife conservation and energy development in the Rocky Mountain West. Please join us in Jackson, Wyoming for this very important event.
